Direction Finding evenings:-
L.A.D.A.R.C. run two types of DF hunts throughout the summer season.
3 evenings on 1.960Mhz (160 metres), and 3 evenings on 145.425MHz (2 metres S17), making up six sessions in all. The hidden transmitter would only be on one band per evening.
The Starting point is a lay-by on the A6006 between Zouch and Rempstone, next to the Great Central Railway line and Whitehills Farm.

The area for the DF covers no more than a 6 mile radius from the designated starting point and so makes for a very pleasant evening out.
There is a transmission at the end of the session to indicate the meeting place for that evening.
First three hunt dates for 2008 are as follows:-
13th May...1st DF 0f 2008 ~ 2m starter
27th May..2nd DF of 2008 ~ HF 160m.
17th June..3rd DF of 2008 ~ 2m.
